TEACHER AND STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK!
It’s Spring, which means Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is right around the corner. Traditionally celebrated the first week of May, Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is an opportunity to shower our teachers and staff with gratitude. It’s our chance to show them how important they are. CP Smith teachers rock! The PTO is helping to support efforts to thank our teachers and staff in a variety of ways. As in years past, we’re organizing a gift card raffle for that week. All teachers and staff will have their names entered in the raffle and on Friday, May 6th, we’ll draw the winners. If you are able, please consider donating a gift card for this event, for any retailer, food vendor, etc., in any amount. The more gift cards we have, the more winners there will be! If you’d like to participate, your contribution can be given to Nancy Winn in the front office, or contact Amy Kiviranna at secretary@cpsmithpto.com to arrange a pick up or with any questions. RED WAGON PLANTS GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER
It’s been two years since we’ve held a big fundraising event, yet we’ve continued to support our teachers and students in many ways. HELP US BUILD BACK OUR FUNDS so we can continue to support our school community with the purchase of $25, $50, $75, or $100 gift cards to Red Wagon Plants from NOW through April 22nd (Earth Day)! Our Partners at Red Wagon plants are offering this generous fundraiser for us! You can prepare your gardens (or buy as a gift) AND support our school! It’s a win-win!

END OF YEAR CELEBRATION!
In the past we have organized a picnic for families as a way to celebrate the end of a successful school year. We are planning to bring this back this year, although we may scale it back. The event will happen in the last couple of weeks of school and we will provide more information as the time gets closer!
